CONTRAINDICATIONS

Client must have no Rosacea. Dermatitis. Psoriasis. Eczema. Open sores cracked skin. Discoloured skin patches. Skin growths.  Moles or unidentified lumps or bumps present on the skin. Skin rashes. If you are ever unsure ALWAYS get a doctor’s note prior to treating your client.

CONSULTATION forms must be filled in and your client must sign and date, these forms are imperative to your treatments.

HEALTH & SAFETY

As you will be already aware you need to follow the health and safety rules and guidelines. Following this ensures your client’s safety, your safety, and everyone else’s around you. Failure to do this can result in dire consequences.

It is a legal requirement to display a Health & Safety certificate within your place of work.

To dispose of used blades, use a sharps container (yellow bin)

You will also be adhering to the –

Manual Handling Operation Regulations of 1992 cover the movement of objects by hand or bodily force.

RIDDOR 1995 Reporting of injuries, diseases, and dangerous occurrences regulations.

COSHH control of substances hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 to assess the risks from hazardous substances.

Chemicals 2002 require suppliers to label and package chemicals with a safety data sheet. If your using peels as add on treatments etc.
